Victorian Oak Fireplace Mantel w. Carved Corinthian Cherub Columns

This is a FABULOUS OAK MANTLE, you will search far and wide to find another like it.. It has been professionally refinished in our workshop of the French Connection Antiques in St Charles, MO, established in 1983. Middle section and back support all dis-assemble, refer to photos. The carvings on the capitals, including cherubs, is made of gesso, but carvings at top are wood. Quarter Sawn Oak abounds throughout this beautiful mantel! It has original light fixture, it was not designed to accept shades.

MEASUREMENTS: 95-5/8 " high, 63.5" wide, (at widest point) x 15 deep. Back Supports measure 74" tall x 57" wide.
