An Antique Oak Portable Desk, with a Brass Carrying handle on the top and a Brass shield shaped Escutcheon on the front. The Desk opens up by lifting the top to display a Leather pad with pen loops and the front drops down to display numerous compartments, more Pen loops and a Pen Tray, Stamp slope and a space for an Inkwell below. There is a Leather Writing surface with gilt tooling in the front. Faint splits to the sides of the leather and the wood behind.. Key supplied but doesn't turn the lock.
