Antique Hospital Bedside Table, Adjustable Height, Original Casters

This wonderful antique bedside hospital table has a new, handcrafted, picture-framed oak top measuring 24 inches by 18 inches. The decorative cast iron base finished in an oil-rubbed bronze color features scrollwork, and the table reflects its original casters which still properly function.

Using the great four-ringed handle, the table's height can be adjusted from 26 inches to 38 inches. The adjustment arm found underneath the tabletop is spring loaded to allow the top to swivel to the desired angle. There are also two wire supports that are original to the piece and store beneath the tabletop, each able to swivel up onto the table to hold books or other reading material in place.
